Begin your week with clarity and ease. This grounding yoga class incorporates gentle movement, longer-held poses for flexibility, breath work and stillness to reconnect with your body and calm your mind. Class will close with a meditative sound bath to invite deep rest. These classes are at Taylored Training and Fitness, 103 W. Waterloo Street, Suite C, Canal Winchester, Ohio.

Expect movement, breathing practices and meditation with options to tailor your practice. All levels of experience are welcome. These classes are in the garden at The Wagnalls Memorial, 150 E. Columbus St., Lithopolis, Ohio. **Classes return indoors to The Community Building in September.

iRest® Sound Bath
Monday, 9/8
Canal Winchester Community Center
Join us for monthly events designed to support deep rest.
This sound bath program is offered through the Canal Winchester Joint Recreation District.
Allow the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls and other percussion instruments to transport you to a meditative state.
These sound baths include guided iRest® meditation, an evidence-based practice.
According to the iRest Institute, iRest has been shown to be effective in scientific trials for chronic pain, sleep issues, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress.
Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat and blanket. Chairs are also available.
This sound bath program is led by experienced 500-hour yoga teacher and certified iRest teacher Elizabeth Wood, E-RYT 500.

This 75-minute workshop explores yogic practices for wellbeing that can be applied in everyday life.
It includes a discussion about wellness and an all-levels mindful yoga practice for increased clarity, ease and capacity for joy.
Elizabeth will also share insights from her own wellness journey.
She is a co-author of the international best selling book, The Call Within: Finding Purpose and Sparking Transformation. (Fun fact: Jennifer, owner of The Wild Nurturer, is mentioned in the book!)
